Microsoft Lumia 950 si Lumia 950 XL anuntate oficial de Microsoft: detaliile oficiale despre flagship-urile Windows 10

Despre Lumia 950 si Lumia 950 XL, cele două flagship-uri mult așteptate ale Microsoft știam încă dinainte de eveniment tot ceea ce era important: de la specificații tehnice, la design, materiale și chiar și prețuri. Ce nu știam foarte clar era data în care aceste aparate vor ajunge pe piață, acum știm: e vorba despre luna noiembrie.

Cu toate astea Panos Panay, omul pus de Microsoft să conducă divizia de hardware a reușit să facă prezentarea super interesantă, arătându-ne că e bine să pui super specificații tehnice într-un produs, dar dacă nu le valorifici ele sunt puse cam degeaba (asta e o aluzie fină la super bestiile Android care nu fac altceva decât să consume baterie și să se chinuie să randeze o interfața grafică).

E ceva ce lipsește și alte flagship-uri au? Da, senzorul de amprentă.

E ceva ce are Lumia 950 XL și alte flagship-uri nu au? Daaaa. În primul rând ideea de Continuum din Windows 10: prin Windows Universal Apps și un docking, smartphone-ul Lumia 950 și Lumia 950 XL poate să devină un înlocuitor de laptop. De asta e nevoie de super procesor și suficientă memorie, ca să facem totuși ceva cu acest smartphone.

Iar Microsoft le-a pus la treabă. Pe scenă Panos Panay ne-a arătat cum aplicațiile Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel și Outlook) pot să fie folosite atât pe telefon, cu opțiunile touch cât și cu tastatură și maus, toate posibile prin Windows 10.

Pe ambele modele avem USB Type-C pentru încărcare și prin același standard se face conectarea către Microsoft Display Dock.

Pe scenă demo-ul de Continuum, funcția prin care se poate folosi smartphone-ul pe post de PC a mers perfect. Nici cea mai mică eroare în condițiile în care știm cu toții că versiunea de test pentru Windows 10 Mobile disponibilă publicului larg e încă plină de bug-uri.

Poate că și din cauza asta lansarea produselor hardware pe piață e amânată până în luna noiembrie.

Dacă nu l-aș fi văzut, nu aș fi crezut: Microsoft Display Dock e mic, poate să fie purtat în buzunar și scos atunci când e nevoie. Oare să credem că Lumia 950 / 950 XL poate să fie folosit pe post de înlocuitor de PC?
