Surface Pro 4 are o rezoluție de 2736 x 1824 pixeli, ceea ce este o creșetere cu 24% a densității (267ppi) față de cea 2160 x 1440 de pe Surface Pro 3 (216ppi) și cu 60% mai mulți pixeli (de la 3,1 milioane la 5). Toți parametrii relevanți au valori mai bune decât pe Surface Pro 3: Maximum Brightness, Contrast Ratio, Absolute Color Accuracy, Viewing Angle Performance.
