Pregatiti-va sistemele pentru un nou sistem de operare: Ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn e gata!

Suntem în luna octombrie și ca în fiecare an pe vremea asta Ubuntu lansează o nouă versiune a distribuției Linux. Este vorba de 14.10 cu numele de cod Utopic Unicorn.

Ce e nou? Un kernel 3.16 livrat implicit, AppArmor, Oxide, Ubuntu Desktop (Unity 7.3.1, LibreOffice 4.3, X.org 1.16, Firefox, Chromium) etc.

Față de versiunea precedentă schimbările sunt minore, dar tot merită să faceți trecerea.

Cerințe minime de sistem:

• 1 GHz processor (for example Intel Celeron) or better.
• 1.5 GB RAM (system memory).
• 7 GB of free hard drive space for installation.
• Either a CD/DVD drive or a USB port for the installer media.
• Internet access is helpful (for installing updates during the installation process).
